Will the LT series allow you to run a Lisp file? I am looking to move from AutoCad R13 to AutoCad 2005 LT ( 2 D drafting only ) but I use several LIsp files. Your assistance is appreciated

If you want to read it al :Customization—The AutoCAD 2005 platform offers fully extensible drawing and application customization through APIs (application programming interfaces) such as Visual LISP™, VBA, and ActiveX®. AutoCAD LT 2005 is not an extensible product.

8) Acutally....there are addons the will allow LT2000 (onwards I believe) to run LISP......
Have a look on the net....I believe DRCAUTO produces one of them..
Good luck
Hope this helps.
I believe you want "LT Extender".
Here's the link.

Hope that helps.
Dont know about LT2005 he asked for .. :?:
read this :!: :!: http://www.lt-extender.com/englisch/frameset.htm and chekout:!: :!:List of all supported AutoCAD LT versions ...
But anyway, its a matter of time and 2005LT will be supported, although i would recommend you to buy 2005 in stead of 2005LT.[/url]
8) Yes...I tend to agree with YosSa......It may mean $$$ but the added functionality will outway the cost.....
You guys are right .... he wanted LT2005. I missed that, but like you said YosSa . . . in time they will have it.
If you click on their link where it says ....
Please note this information around LT 2004 !
They discuss their continous effort to improve their product, version after version. So LT2005 support should be there soon.![]()
But anyway.![]()
This added product does supposedly make LT into a full version of AutoCAD. The cost of LTextender & LTacad is less than ACAD full version.
It's an alternative to buying the full ACAD.
But like you guys.
I'd rather buy the full version and be done with it.
