Curious? :?
If it's supposed to be clear, why not just leave a void, so you can see thru the mullions & frame?
Let me know.

I got your "private message" (pm) ....
Ok ... I hear ya' ... let me ask around.
But I doubt it.
But off the top of my head... to accomplish that kinda of effect .... :?
I would think you need to do "2" renderings.
"RENDERING ONE"
Render with no glass.
And save the image as a JPEG.
"RENDERING TWO"
Render with glass or water or polished metal to get the desired effect.
And save image as a JPEG.
Now hopefully both have the same "angle" and "perspective".
Crop out the window from "RENDERING 2"!!!
Now overlay that over the image from "RENDERING 1" ... And now play w/ the transparency property of "RENDERING 2" ....
The 2 images should yield the results you want.
The transparency effect can be done in AutoCAD or Photoshop or some other imaging software that has that capability.
Hope that helps guy.
I'll ask around here but I believe that's your best bet. Somewhat ... a lot of work but very effective if done right.
If you don't hear from me ... no other ideas ....

Or did ya' go another route?

for transparency to work:
1) type RMAT or click the material library
2) click modify
3) pick trarsparency
4) set value of transparency

Yeah... I see where Mike was going. He wanted to render something like a bottle of water. With something in it, I reckon. I thought I had a solution, but what Architech said is probably right, right?
... did it work?
