Does anyone remember a software package from McNeel and Associates that worked with autocad release 14 that plotted drawings that looked like they were drawn by hand, it was called Handplot. Does any one know if this is available for acad2005 or any other versions of acad? Thanks for your time in advance.

I think you want "Squiggle".
Try .... http://www.aay.com/squiggle.htm

I thought squiggle was done through autocad and you had to save a copy of the original file apply the squiggle and save that as a new file? Am I mistaken?

The version we have here and previous versions I've used ....
I plot the DWG to a PLT file.
Then exit AutoCAD.
Then I open Squiggle and open the PLT file, in Squiggle.
In Squiggle, you apply your desired settings. Such a pencil feel or a "napkin" pen doodle .. feel.
Then you save the PLT file ... modified and plot.
Hope that helps.

Guess I have an issue with going to extraordinary measures to try to make a cadd drawing look hand drawn.
Curiously, I don't have the same feeling about using hand lettering simulation fonts.
Feel free to straighten me out on this conflict.....

You crack me up. Not that I want to get involved, but I've seen several architectural exhibits like that.
Hey If this squiggle thingee doesn't work out, Adobe Photo Shop can do the pencile thing in a few mouse clicks.

VCD: Methinks you are easily amused....
Not surprised that you've seen squiggled presentations. Subconsciously, some architects still reject using AutoCad as "unpure" so they try to make it look hand drawn.
Cadd is a tool, not a religious experience.
