Hi Everyone.

I wonder if someone can help me.

I use Rhino a 3D Modelling package. When I export a drawing to a dxf file and import it into an Autocad file then whenever I try and do a mod or add a dimension it just locks up completely sending the CPU usage to 100%. This only happens however when I have my OSNAP settings on :?:

Not sure if anyone else uses this package but any info would be greatly appreciated.

I am thinking that it is a problem that rhino have overlooked and maybe I need to post this problem to them but in the meantime all you AutoCad Aces Please Let me know.

When you DXFin to AutoCAD, save the file 1st.
Then open it again.
Now "wblock" the whole file.
Now open the "wblock" file.
And "wblock" it 1 more time.
And open that file.

Now try it ... :?

The "wblock" acts like a filter and cleans out any "impurities" the DWG may have from other programs or blocks inserted.

Hope that works.
Later guy. :P
