Hi,

I'm relatively new to AutoCAD 2005 but have a bit of previous experience on other systems. I have a mechanism model that I'd like to produce an animation from, ie show how the pieces move together.

Can AutoCAD 2005 do this?
Is there any other software that can take an AutoCAD model and do this?

Thanks,

Gordon.

not so familiar with Animating in Autocad... maybe its possible...
try continous swivel but it only makes the object revolve in infinite...

there are lot of softwares that can do animation in a painless effort...you can use...

3d studio viz
3d studio max

... this were just two softwares that digest autocad files...

note:

in 3ds max version 6 & above can actually import .dwg files directly without exporting the cad files into .3ds file....
