Hello,
Just wondering if anyone can tell me if it possible to do a sort of
short movie or a flythrough similar to which you see with graphic design work with a 3D model created with Autocad. For example a virtual walkthrough of a house you have drawn using 3D modelling or a short movie of a continuous orbit of that house.Do you have to export the Autocad dwg. into different software or can you use Autocad to achieve this.

Much Appreciated.

Sorry guy....
You have to go outside of AutoCAD to achieve this short movie.

I just saw this cool software called "Walkinside" by Axiom.
Axiom is Bentley MicroStation based but "Walkinside" will take a DWG model and animate it anyway you want. It's $6500 for one seat and has amintenance fee of $900/ year.

There is 3D VIZ as well.

And the list goes on with other saftwares out there.

If you only have access to AutoCAD you could do still shot renderings and save them slides. Then do a slide show in AutoCAD. But that "CRAZY" ...
But it is avaialble if you're up to the task.

Later.

Navisworks Jetstream does an awesome job.

And it will almost take any CAD format...

:yikes:

I think it came out in 2007 . The command I believe is "anipath"....
