OMG - do I have to narrow it down to just one?????? OK, lemme think.......
All time fav would be Dave Matthews Band. ::thumbs : I'm not completely sure why. He's sorta started to get into a little bit of a mix of stuff, but no matter what kind of mood I'm in, I can listen to Dave.......
Evanescence is another one, um.......Vanessa Carlson, Black Eyed Peas, Chicago, Sting, Our Lady Peace, Enya, Kottonmouth Kings, Our Lady Peace, Will Smith, LL Cool J, Limp Bizkit, Lenny Kravitz..........see? I told you that I have waaaaaay too many! I can't just say that I like one certain type of music, as you can tell by the above list, it generally all depends on my mood, though. DMB is the exception - I can listen to him anytime!

Favorite bands? I rotate among Pink Floyd, Supertramp, Pat Metheny and Steely Dan.... with an occasional side trip to the Grateful Dead. Pretty weird for an old guy, eh?

But at the minute my favourite album is Green Day:American Idiot.
I like it and most of the songs on it for the energy and honesty.
EDIT: Jesus of suburbia is a favourite and so is Letterbomb.
But I'm also well into the Streets, Goldie Looking Chain, Feeder, Snow Patrol, Maroon 5 and Jimi Hendrix.
Can't forget the Doors, Millencolin, Dead Kennedys... and lots, lots more.
EDIT: Anyone who hasn't heard 'Half man Half machine' by Goldie Looking Chain has never heard classic comedy rap.

They got a cool funk/disco sound, and they like to use a variety of rare instruments... They're really talented musicians with a male lead singer who has a falsetto voice(very high almost female). In the early 90's they created a pretty big cult following, because they came out with a few videos that were unlike anything ever done before.
How about this, if Queen had ever played Funk Music... I'd bet a lot of money it would have sounded really similar to Jamiroquai.

She's just a cosmic girl
From another galaxy...
VCD. Did you know that in that video, Jay Kay wrote off one of those Ferrari's?
You'd think with him having an Enzo he'd appreciate what he's messing with!

Transmitting on my frequency...
 Sorry, I think I’m missing an English-English to English-American translation here? Does “wrote off” mean he stole it?
If so... Yikes! Maybe he appreciated it a little too much? On a couple of their album covers they copied a Ferrari Logo and put their little Buffalo Man in place of the horse.

'T' you're killing me here! Stevie was The God of Guitar, how could you forget about Him. He makes Hendrix and Robert Plant songs sound 'simple'.
You guys need to listen to Hendrix's "Standing Next to a Mountain" and then listen to Stevie Ray Vaughan's re-duex. I don't know how you make a absolutely brilliant, musically improbable, one of a kind song, even better, but Vaughan "Chops it down with the side of his hand".
God rest both of their souls.
/I need to take a deep breath.

'T' you're killing me here!
I hear that a lot.........
ANYWAY - I've got some of all of the above mentioned guitarists - I'll have to check out the difference in the versions of "Standing Next to a Mountain" - I don't think I have the Vaughn version.
