Well, I'm still getting the hang of 2000i, so forgive me if I overlooked something obvious.
One of my people needs to use the "burst" command, you know... one of those express commands that Autodesk didn't build into AutoCAD because they weren't useful enough, yet when they're missing I hear invariably about it... Time to digress... shaking it off...
I go to the load apps dialog, find the "burst" lisp file, load it and close the dialog. I then type "burst". I get the following message:
error: no function definition ACET-ERROR-INIT
...seems the only thing bursting is the veins in my throbbing forehead.
I read on some PDF I got from an unreliable source that it's part of express tools, and thus is installed by selecting "add/remove" when running the acad setup disk. Sounded easy enough. Got the disk. Ran setup. Clicked "add..." found nothing that would indicate installing such tools. in R14, it's not hard to find them.
Furthermore, unless I got it backward and only the french-canadian library was installed in the machine and autocad was running from the CD drive, the machine had a full install of 2000i - so if AutoCAD was able to burst, it should have burst (instead of my capillaries).
So, if anyone would be so kind as to lend a hand, I would be most appreciative.
Thanks,
Ted
