Polyline vertex, delete

Can someone help me with editing a polyline vertex ? It is very easy to add a vertex to a polyline but how do you delete one ???

Julie: I think you can delete while in the polyline edit session (PE, E, then step through the vertices with N(ext) or P(revious) to the one you want to delete then choose from the options on the command line (I think you can also hit the delete key while positioned on the vertex; been a while since I did this).
