Hi!
Question:
Can a plot style saved under C drive (Hard drive) be saved under a directory on a server.??
I am trying to used a new ctb plot style which can be used from the server by all the users instead of just one Computer Station Hard drive.
I actually copied plot style from C drive to server and made changes. No changes were reflected when I chose this to plot. By default the plot manager takes plot style from C drive.
Secondly how to create a PCP or PC2 files???
Thanks in advance.

I'm no network expert but I believe that you must provide a path to the location of the ctb file on the server in order for AutoCad to find it.

Check "Support Files Search Path" topics in your on-line help files.

That is correct cisarch, the path would need to be set in the autocad options...

Refer to the attached image.

Thanks, Eddie. A picture is worth a thousand words, isn't it?

I try to encourage folks to look things up for themselves so they remember it better.

Forgot to mention that the netwrok administrator may have to furnish path information -or actually set it up him (her)self as administrator because of privilege protocols.
