In AutoCAD 14 it was possible to make a layer current, when you save the layer state. Then, when you renew the layer state it makes that layer current, again. Is this possible in AutoCAD 14?

Hi,
I think You meant 2004, are You?
When You save the layer state by "lman" from the Express Tools, You will get the current layer again, when You restore...
