Metric System & Feet / Inches

I am working on a drawing in the Metric System. When I'm done, my client might want to have it converted to feet / inches. I would like to know, is this possible in AutoCAD? How?

Also, is there an official name for feet / inches system? I can only think of Metric System for meters, etc.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

the two common systems are Metric (mm) and Imperial (Ft & ")
If you have created your drawing in Metric and your client wants it in imperial, you have two choices ~
A) scale the drawing by the relevant factor or
B) In your simstyle, check "show alternate units"

draw in imperial and make sure your dims have the alternate units ON as metric... :idea:
