Hi,
I am still using AutoCAD 14. I would like to find a book which covers writing macro for Release 14.
As a default AutoCAD 14 had some sample files installed on to your C drive as well as some tutorial folders. A basic way to get started can be found there.

Advancing With AutoCAD 14 by Bob McFarlane might be useful. On www.amazon.com for $59.95:

Maste has ring AutoCad 14, by George Omura some information on Macros and AutoLisp. There are also several AutoCad Support listings in Google.

(Sorry didn't realize the PDF file had to be ZIPPED).
I attached a file that I found awhile back. It's a course book on how to write LISP for AutoCAD. It should be good for all versions of AutoCAD.
Hope that helps ....

Architect,
Thank you for sending me the free AutoLisp course, however I can't seem to open the getmsg file. Can you suggest the software I need to open it.

Hey guy,
The file you should download is a "ZIP" file.
Once downloaded, you should be able to "unzip" the file ... with a free program like "WINZIP". (www.winzip.com)
"UNZIPping" the file should produce a PDF file.
The PDF file is what you should be opening & reading.
I don't know what the "getmsg" file is? :?:
Sorry in advance.
