init and back up errors

Autocad does not correctly back up files. Either it is backing up every minutes or not at all. All settings have been checked and everything is set correctly. Also many times when it does back up the files are 0 kb.

also getting ltinit errors.

Any help is appreciated.

Have you check all these variables...?


SAVETIME
SAVEFILEPATH
SAVEFILE
ISAVEBAK
ISAVEPERCENT (recommend set to 50)

Ive encountered same problem before in my Release 2004...
A couple of times i tried to uninstall and install my Autocad same problem occurs...then i finally decided to format may HD to see if the error is on the software or in the PC and after that it runs smooth without any error so to speak. But i cant fully advice that u must format since a couple of months i shifted to 2005 and it wasnt that long that i used my 2004...

I just shared this one on the way how i treated that error... you may take it the way that i did or keep on tracing where the error lurks... :lol:
