I have reinstalled my version of AutoCAD 2000 and am missing many of the toolbars and buttons I have added to the normal bars. How do I get these back without having to go through the pain-staking task of remaking them all? Any help would be greatly appriciated. Thank you.

derraskell,

did You save anything before reinstalling, like *.mnu, or the profile (*.arg), ore the toolbar buttons (*.bmp), etc...
if yes, -> :)
if not, -> sorry :( :cry: :x :cry:

You mentioned the .mnu file, how do you save custom toolbars and can they be imported into later versions?

sorry, it was the *.mns

· http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/item?siteID=123112&id=2875803&linkID=2475323
· search for Your own toolbar images (*.bmp)
· export Your profile (*.arg) and import it into the new workstation

it's a lot of work :(

@cadaver,

the best way is to create an own menue with the bitmaps, mns, etc,.. in a different folder

If You want to change the workstation, or make an update, You can copy the folder $ load the menue..

That makes a lot of sense. Thanks again.
