Hi Folks: AutoCad "Native Fonts" (RomanS, RomanD, RomanD, RomanT, etc) include coding for stacking text vertically if you check the box when setting up a text style.
As best I can determine, this was originally included to permit PC board draftspersons to squeeze component identification verically on circuit boards when there was no room to place it horizontally.
Anyone have other theories on why vertical coding was used???
I'd be interested in reading any comments.
Thanks.
