The computer the is having problems with the Regeneration, "regenauto" was set to "on". What else could be the problem? The arc settings are the same on all the other computers and nobody else is having this problem.

Thanks for you help

Hi,

maybe REGENAUTO?

Is the command "regen" not working, or the auomatically regeneration after "_draworder" e.g. ??? Size of the *.dwg?

The Command "regen" is not working. When it is typed in autocad says it is regenerating but the arcs are still look like line segments. Like I stated before all the computers in the office are set the same as far as arc smoothness is concerned but nobody else is having this problem. We are working in ADT 3.3 and if you copy the drawing into a new drawing than regen works just fine but after a while it stops working. I am wondering if a system varible is getting changed accidently. If so which one?

Any help is greatly appericated.

"_VIEWRES" ??

_viewres was set to "y" and "1" . . . . . reset it to "y" and "20000" this had no effect.

Could it be something in the 3d model itself? Maybe the way the arc was made? I don't know what is going on, and it is driving me crazy.

If I copyclip the arcs from the troubled drawing and place them in a totally new drawing then Regen works.

ok, then import everything into a new *.dwg and send the old one to santa claus...

Segmented curved objects is more of a display settings issue than a regen issue. In 02, it's Tools>Options> Display Tab>Resolution settings.

If resolution is not set the way you want it, you can regen or regenall 'til the cows come home and curved objects will still look segmented.

The trade-off for better resolution is a little degrading of video performance, depending on how good your video card is snf how many objects it has to work on.
