Did you create this arrowhead oriented horizontally?

Easiest way to create a custom arrowhead is to FIRST define a dimension style using one of AutoCad's predefined arrowheads. As this is done, AutoCad inserts the selected arrowhead into the drawing as a block.

After defining the dimension style, start the Insert>Block command and click on the down arrow at the right side of the window listing blocks. You should see an arrowhead block listed there. Insert this arrowhead into your drawing and use its dimensions and orientation as a template to design your own arrowhead.

When you are satisfied with the design of your arrowhead, save it as a drawing (Wblock it to someplace you can remember). Insert it as a block in your drawing then redefine your dimstyle using the custom block.

This should work.

JSAWSON: Glad it worked for you. No DUHS, just inexperience, which you now have less of. This site is here to help. 8)
