Autocad 2002 buttons

Hello All,
Is there a fix for slow Autocad buttons? That is when moving to a button and clicking on that button it will not activate in the time you have the cursor on that button.

I really dont believe its the button that causes the problem.
Maybe the programming behind the button orso, but not the button itself.

Is your computer under powered for 2002? If so you might add more RAM.
