Actually, internet have big opportunity to get partnership without time and place tied. Evently, we can get a big benefit too from them cause of difference drafting price at each countries. Such being the problem is how we disappearing bad prejudice about deception. As example, we have sent demand price, but the drafter side haven't ever done it, loosing responsibility and run away bringing demand price. From this thread, I want to try to finding the best way out with all friends in this forum. These are the example of my idea about working procedure :
1. Costumer : send the drafting sketch and all things needed as base of designing.
2. Drafter : finishing pre design and show the result in flash media player file format. This file type have vector graphic shape like as dwf file format. The aim, costumer could see but couldn't use it.
3. If we have a deal, the money from design sent to drafter and then drafter send the final result of design AutoCAD file.

My dealings with these services are as follows .....

Most have samples for downloading. The image and CADfile.
Others (very few) will do free samples. You send an image and they will convert 1/5 of the image and send back an AutoCAD file .. to get your business.

After you agree on the level of quality and expectaions ... money is discussed.

If it is less than 7 images, most companies will do the job after a credit card is given or a faxed copy of a check is sent.

All CAD files will be given to customer before money is recieved. Customer them sends money after review of CAD files.

If it's more than 7 image files, most companies want 10% to 15% up front before beginning any work. Balance is due after the work is done.

Hope that gives you an idea.

One mreo thing ...
Aside from price .... time is another factor in choosing a "drafting" company.
