Hi, first time using this forum. My problem is that I have some drawings I need to send by e-mail to be included in a promotional leaflet. The person I am sending them to is not an AutoCAD user and therefore wants them as either Jpegs or as a word document he can just cut and paste. How can I do this? or is there another way round it?

One method is that if you have office as well as autocad this should install the Microsoft Office document image writer into your print file. So when you go to Plot in autocad if you choose Microsoft Office document image writer as the plotter it will allow you to save a file as and MDI this will also open image viewer. You can then use the send text to word command within the image viewer (on toolbar). This will transport the document in to word where you can save it as a word doc.

Second method is to use illustrator you can import a dwg file and then save it as a jpeg image. Nice and simple.

Third method is to go to plot and you possibly depending what version your using have within the plotter name publish to web. This save the file as a jpeg automatically for insertion into a web page.

Hope this is of assistance.
