No blocks on Design Center

Hello,

I am having a problem getting the blocks to show up in the design center.
I get the drawing files such as House designer but a blank spot to the
right. There are no blocks, etc. to click on. I am using autocad lt 2000
with windows xp. I would appreciate any help.
