I'm creating a 3d drawing for a table top. And I'm having trouble creating a corner where the edging of the table top meets. I have the profile of the edging drawn and have revsurfed it around the part of the top to show how it should look. I need a step in the right direction on how to go about finishing the corner. I hope I explained this well enough...

WMICS: Do you intend the corners to be mitered or rounded? If mitered, I THINK you'd have to use solids and slice the corners. If rounded, well, figure the number of degrees in the included angle and revolve your corners,

Other way would be to turn your profile into a closed polyline and use it to extrude along a path, which in your case would be the arc segments that you are revolving along presently. For rounded corners in extruding along a path, turn the corners with a radius, connect the corners and 4 arc segments along the sides, place your profile (closed pline) at a "start corner" and extrude along the path. For mitered corners, extend your side and end extruded segments past the corners and slice at the miters.

Have fun!

What are you going to do for the top? A region or a solid?
