Is there any way to place an Arrow or other marker and the Def Point for Ordinate Dimensions.
Something like a small inverted triangle pointing to the Def Point.

If I interpret your question correctly, you would like to place a point at specific locations and have it display as a symbol of some sort?

One way is to create a drawing of your symbol and insert it where you want as a block. If your insert point is at the center of the symbol, it is measurable. If you would like to experiment with some pre-defined blocks as I have described, send me a private e-mail.

Might also try exploring the point style definitions. I believe the default point style that appears is a "point" (i.e., teeny little dot) but you can define different point styles for other purposes.

I don't use '05 but since this feature has been included through several iterations, it should be there somewhere. Look in your online help and search for "settings", "point styles" etc.

Someone will probably respond to this and tell you exactly how to do this which is helpful but you may retain it better if you figure it out yourself.
