Survey Link in Softdesk 8

I'm trying to get Survey link which was included with Softdesk 8 to run. I have a Husky Data Collector with TDS on it. When i go to the Collector and click on Data Collector Link the screen just flashes, nothing comes up. I need the info from the collector!

Did the collector come with any software that allows you to download your points into a text file format? I know it’s an extra step but SD8 will work fine with a .txt file.

I was working on 'Eagle Point' back in my survey days, so I don’t know if SD8 Survey allows you to manually select a data collector model or software. BUT… If it does try tinkering with those settings. Your data collector might be too new and you'll have to find a suitable substitute.

If possible, make a back up of your data before SD8 decides to screw something up.
