I must have ripped a hole in time and space
I have a drawing that was created in R14 and can be opened in R14. Problem is; when I open it in '05 I get the following error.
Assertion failed!
Program: c:\Program Files\Land Desktop 2005\acad.exe
File: ..\..\3rdParty\Dbx\Inc\acarray.h
Line: 264
Expression: isValid(I)
Fro information on how your program can cause an assertion failure, see the Visual C++ documentation on asserts
(Press Retry to Debut the application – JIT must be enabled)
Then AutoCAD crashes like the Genesis capsule (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Genesis+capsule&btnG=Google+Search) in the Utah desert!
I have tried to recover it with LDD 05... see error above
I have run audit in R14... to bad so sad
I have run audit and purge in R14... sucks to be me
I have run MAP 2005… you guessed it
I deleted the blocks that associate the drawing to Softdesk 8 data base... continues sucking to be me
And worst of all I can’t even “insert block” the drawing into a fresh session of 2005.
I have a few more ideas but any help would be appreciated.
Comments about the true definition of irony will also be appreciated. :)
