Does anyone know of a good book or books for Autocad 2004 that's good for construction/architectal drawing. Most books I've seen seem to be more for engineering or mechanical engineering?
Any help please?
Do you know any good books?
Many thanks.

Architectural Graphic Standards comes to mind as a GENERAL source book for architectural construction details and philosophy. There is another book called Time Saver Standards that may also be of some help. These books could probably be found on sites like AMAZON.COM if not available locally. Used books are generally less expensive than new ones if available.
Don't know where you're working but in the U.S., construction methods can vary widely from one part of the country to the other due to climactic conditions, local construction practices, prevailing building codes and the preferences of the design architect and/or engineer.
If you can obtain some sets of construction drawings of projects in the area where you live and study the details, this is a good starting place.
I am not aware of books that address AutoCad 2004 and architectural details in any great detail but then I've been doing details for almost 40 years so I'm mainly interested in books that explain how the software works -and there aren't too many of those. Some other responders may have better opinions....
Sorry not to be of more help but this isn't a question that has a single answer.

I agree with "Csiarch".
I believe Francis D. K. Ching is the aurthor.
I could be wrong but he does have a variety of good books.
