I am presently using autocad lt 97 and have been using a hp500ps plotter for several months. I have had no problem printing documents up to 16 feet long until now. The printer only prints the bottom 8 1/2 feet or so of the image but it dispenses the proper amount of paper. It prints exactly what it shows in print preview. Is there a setting I changed by mistake.

You had to do something new ... or someone else ....? :?:
It almost sounds like the "window" is off. When you plot, ACAD should ask for "extents" "display" ... or "window" .....
It also sounds like you upgraded your OS. like win98 to win 2000 ....
You might need to upgrade your drivers ....
Need more info ...
sorry...

The operating system is the same as what I have been using for the last few months . When I pick print I outline the window and then go through to pick my printer and size. After that I go to preview and the image shows only the bottom of the image I outline with my window pick function. It is very possible that my setting were changed by someone. I contacted hp and they could help me. The hp 500 is not my default printer. However my printer was recently put on the network at the office. I will try to reload the printer and check for any upgrades. If you have any other ideas I would be happy to know. thanks
