How come the 30 minute lunchbreak I get goes quicker than the last 10 minutes of every working day? I don't understand.

could it be that you're actually doing something at lunchtime that makes the time seem to pass faster than when you're sitting at your desk, pretending to work, but actually looking at the clock, waiting for those last 10 mins to go by.........?????????
:?:
............just a thought..........(no, I'm not a blonde, therefore, I do think!!!!!!!!!!)

all right........let's try this one on for size............
at lunchtime, the positioning of the sun (granted it's not raining out) determines the mood that your body is in, therefore determining the speed that your 30 minutes goes by. at the end of the day, that same sun is probably nowhere to be seen, depending on where you sit in your office, therefore your body has determined that it doesn't give a s*** about the speed of time, regardless of what your mind thinks, so time just drags.
is that better? I haven't even had my coffee yet & y'all are making me think!!!!!!!!!!!
see ya!

You mostly work with youre brains ..
during a break they aer almost on non-activ ...
during work you use them 3 times harder, so for ya feeling you work 3 times harder, but working harder isn't equal to time ...
so for ya feeling you are busy much longer but you're not ....
**eeeuuuhhh**
djie
what a **** conversation .... its logical:
1 minute = 60 seconds
1 hour = 60 minutes
1 day = 24 hrs
1 week = 7 days
1 month = 30/31 days
1 year = 12 months
And its the same if you work or have a break !!!

Get a sense of humour man.. You dutch are too serious.. heh heh.
My personal belief is this..
After much thought the break is 3 times longer but the last 10 minutes seems longer because -
If I wind myself up properly in the morning, then the machine is still clicking and whirring by 12:00. However at 4:00 my coils has unwound so much, that my perception of time is distorted by the phenomenon mentioned earlier by the lady D.
Therefore I conclude.
Time Speed = (Overall desire to work + Hours slept last night )
