Does anyone here know how to take the/a view of a 3D solid and turn it into a 2D flat isometric view? Several of the drawing at my office look as though they were made in 3D but thet are flat2D pictures.
Thanks

YEAH .... it's the "solprof" command that takes the 3D view in "Layout" (paper space) and makes a 2D trace of the isometric veiw".

Hope that helps.

Look into the making a "DXB" plotter for AutoCAD, too. ( http://www.autocadeverything.com/phpBB/ftopic210.php )

"Soldraw" might be another route but it has it's limitation.

Hit F1 in AutoCAD and type in the words in quotes for more info or come back here and ask ... if you're interested in those other routes.
