Someone once asked if it is possible to insert the RGB values into AutoCAD and plot those "True colors".

YES :P

This can be done with CTB files.
Attached is a PDF file that shows where to click.
(Must be logged on to see file)

BUT ... there's always a but ....

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Even though you insert these values ... you will not see these colors on your screen color red (no. 1) will still seem like normal red on screen.
Although you can modify what color prints out on your color plotter.
For example RED on screen can come out purple or orange ... if you re-assign the RGB values.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Small Note:
By the way ... Movtive Systems makes a Software called "M-color" that allows to customize colors and view them on screen.

AND 1 more note:
The true color output will be limited to the abilities of your plotter and it's settings & capabilities to mimic "true colors".

Hope this helps someone out there. :mrgreen:
