Supressing dialogue boxes

I have some menus that I created for version 13 and I am now trying to run them in version 2000. Eveything seems to work except the dialogue boxes pop up for some commands- insert, style etc.

Is there a way to suppress the dialogue boxes and make the command run as if it were the old style- command line input.

Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated

Add a "minus" sign in front of the command to suppress the dialog boxes.
For exmaple "-insert" .... vs. .... "insert".
