Hello people.
I am new here and was wondering if someone could help me.
I am currently using Autocad LT98 and I am about to get a new computer
here at work.
I have all my toolbars and everything perfect (just the way I like it) but when I install 98 in the new computer,it will give me the default toolbar icons.
I also have a few custom ones we created too.

I would like to know how and what files I need to save so I can just over-write them after a fresh install on the new computer,so that all my toolbars will be there.

Mastercam has this option called a config. file.

I am not sure how to do it with auto cad.
For some reason, I think it is more that just one file you need to save.

Thank you for all and any help. :)

You should export youre current profile.
When you install the new computer, make sure you use the same paths.
Then import the profile.
Should work

Thanks for the prompt reply.

Not really sure about this??
Could you please be a little more specific on how
to go about this.
I know nothing about profile.

Like i said,in mastercam you just save the config file, then
you over-write it in the new directory, and all your toolbar and
settings will be there.

I cant see auto cad not being able to do this.....
please go easy on me,i dont claim to be an autocad guru

On youre commandline :

<type> pr <enter>

Then go to the Profiles tab

Export the file.

The import procedure shouldnt be to hard now .....
