Layer Properties Manager

I just upgraded AutoCad at a very small landscape architecture firm (from ADT 2000 to ADT 2004). The CAD draftsman "HATES" the AEC Layer Manager. Sometimes to old standard layer dialog box comes up and sometimes the AEC Layer Manager comes up. HOW CAN I MAKE THE OLD ONE COME UP ALWAYS! HELP! They're driving me nuts.

If I'm not mistaken, the 2 dialog boxes required specific commands.

The normal layer manger is initiated with ....
_LAYER

The ADT layer manger is initiated with ....
_AECLAYERMANAGER


I would check the button he/ she is using.
If it's set right .... then .... :?

Re-install it ..... :idea:
OR ... make custom button with "_layer" in the command properties. :idea:

I have only one layer-manager. "_layer" = _AECLAYERMANAGER

Can You attach screenshots of Your different :shock: Layer-manager in ADT2004. Maybe it's a new trick...

I don't get the Layer-Manager from the "nude-Acad". I only get _AECLAYERMANAGER. Why? :(
