Cad Haiku

Ok just a quick explanation. If anyone doesnt know what a Haiku is.
It is a 3 lined poem. The first line has 5 sylables, the second has 7 and the third also 5.

You can have fun with this so I thought I'd post some CAD Haiku's.


To the fellow Cadsters
I love 4 o'clock
When I switch off Autocad
to go and get drunk

Customised toolbars
Increase productivity
and confuse others

To my Boss
If i had some work
I'd be doing it right now
Instead of this crap

I am an expert
at drawing lines and circles
give me more money

To my Friends
You think I'm lucky
Getting paid to draw pictures
You're all spot on right!

Go cash your giro
You could have learned autoCAD
and be bored like me.

Haiku series - A typical day

its 8 already
work begins at 8:30
Supposed to be 8!

No motivation
Happens to be my downfall
Time for a coffee

Break time comes at 10
rest my eyes and stretch my legs
better get on now

I think he saw me
My boss has got a sixth sense
As soon as I skive

Yep he spotted me
At least we were all slacking
now i dont look bad.

hello 12 o clock
And not a moment too soon
cos i was starving

30 minutes pass
back to the grind for us lot
now its the hard part

twelve thirty till four
might as well be a decade
Im clock watching now.

Still, time always flies
And the money keeps coming
So im not bothered

jump into my car
get changed and go see my girl
now it seems worth it.

work is forgotten
until i wake up again
and relive it all.
