XBOX or PS2?

I noticed one person posted PS2 here. And another posted XBOX.

So we have some gamers here. :P

So why did ya' buy one over the other?
Just curious. :?:

I don't have either one so I'm neutral. :roll:

I personally chose PS2 because of the developer support and the fact that i had a ps1. My second choice would be an X-Box tho.. I think the X-Box is an amazing piece of kit but sadly was a little too late.
Technically the x-box is superior but familiarity places my vote firmly with the ps2. Good Question Architech

I got the xbox because i could get it cheap. It has a large Hardrive and can play all kind of games. (its modified)
Now i can download the games, check if they are ok and then burn them on DVD.

I think PS2 has more options, with the eye-toy and the karaoke thing.

But i am just game freak. Also like the old platforms. At home i have:

Atari2600 (3 models) with 93 Games
Philips VideoPac
NES With 72 games
Vectrex with 9 games
SNES
N64
Gameboy
Gameboy SP
SEGA Gamegear
PS One with LCD screan and about 500 games
XBOX

Well, i wont get bored

But most of all i play Quake2 Capture The Flag online for 7 years now. That a real addiction !!

I got an Xbox, had a PS2 first and got bored so that went to Ebay.

Vectrex is pretty old .... i think its from 1982.
First game console that doesnt need a TV to play !!!
Its a black/white screen and you use a overlay for each game to get color effects.

Real great for a collector !!!

really sometimes. But its good for my little boy. It beats all the aggressive games these days. Let him play mario or pac-man, that wont hurd him.
Just simple 2D to begin ....

BUT BUT but but ... what is more fun then .... having some friends over, drink loads of beer and then go play DuckHunt. Bet ya have a great evening ...

I'm gonna sound like an a*sehole here but.. I've got Time Crisis 3 and two Gun-con guns. Sod the ducks!

I remember that game though! It was class.. I got that and mario bros on the same cart.. when i got my Nes all those years ago.

But i am not a happy gun owner. The game is very very very very good !!!

But i like Nintendo also, mario64 is great and what about Mario Tennis or ................ Kart haaahahahha ... great great great
