So who watched the final? the odds for Greece to win at the beginning of the tournament here were 100/1, not bad!

It was crazy! Simple football got the simple result. Mind you, watching Portugal's long-ball tactics started to grind.
Where was the keeper? How was that guy allowed to score? He aint easy to miss!
Ah well.... only 2 years till the world cup.

I reckon if it goes to penalties tho they should come up with a new method of settling things... Rooney and Sol Cambell in a tag team punch up with the other teams 2 hard nuts. Then we'd see them in the final.

Yep, Greece did deserve it, they just stopped portugal playing. Already looking forward to World Cup...counting the days.

Interesting...tag team...I would have chosen Rooney and James though. They could take one player off each team every 3 mins, that would be quite interesting, who would you take off first? I guess it would be too difficult to manage the players leaving the field though without stopping the game all the time.

I just meant Rooney and Campbell Vs maybe that nancy Ronaldo and Figo if it was England Vs Portugal. Then like I say, a good old fashioned Marquis of Queensbury extravaganza. Cos that Rooney looks a bit rocky like. And well, Sol Campbell is just plain scary looking. While Ronaldo is busy with his footwork, Rooney could plant the pretty boy with a right hook to his sculpted jaw! Eng-gur-laaaaand! (not sure the FA would go for it tho!)

Well after that penalty shoot out agony we suffered, I've almost got his back heh heh.. Not that I hate all Portuguese people. Just the 23 or so that got to the semi finals!
