Okay, I work for an energy company that designs pipelines, and right now we are using MAP 2008.

I was trained to use CADWorX a few months ago, and realize that it would speed the design and drawing process up drastically, not 2 mention reduce the risk for human error, but my boss is skeptical.

How exactly should I go about pitching the idea to start using CADWorx in our office?

Thanks for any advice.

Hi Ali,
Does Cadworx have a demo version you could download? That would probably be the best way. Just sit him down next to you and walk him through the interface and show him all the tools that will speed up your workflow and help reduce mistakes.

That's what I did with 3DS Max. I showed my boss the kind of rendered images I could produce with it and I showed him how quickly I could produce 3D models from our site plans and he gave me the go ahead to buy it.

Great idea, I'll see if I can find a demo. Thanks!
