AutoCAD of course is the first choice for ARX application. But not use the LT version

As I understand it (only superrficially), arx applications are written in the C or C++ language, and are compiled for a specific AutoCAD version. Thus when a cad version changes, updated arx files are needed.

I know some IntelliCAD program also support ARX,BricsCAD can do.And it is said that GStarICAD would support it soon. You can have a check about them. And they are much cheaper than AutoCAD

Does that mean that if I use AutoCAD 2008 and my customer use AutoCAD 2006, it would be difficult for us to use?
