Stacking Fractions with City Blueprint

Since upgrading to Windows XP my AutoCad LT 2000 will no longer stack fractions when I use the City Blueprint font. I understand that my version is not fully supported by XP and am willing to upgrade to LT 2005 or 2005 if this function will work properly. I have a few hundred instruction sheets and drawings made with this font and they are frequently edited, I would hate to have to change fonts to regain this function. Any advice?
