Hi all, I hope someone will lessen the confusion I'm in regarding upgrading from 2002 (on old pc) to 2009 (on new pc). We have an old but reliable laserjet 5000 and I can't get the old custom paper settings to be recognized in 2009. The same goes for our new Canon iPF710.
Migration doesn't work because I seem to need 2002 on the new machine first. Just copying the pc3 files doesn't work. Please don't tell me I have to recreate all the settings in 2009. That would make me sooo sad.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Regards, Vivian

It doesn't look good... :boohoo:

I would say that you do have to re-create the PC3s for your new printer...

Since the printer driver in AutoCAD 2009 vs 2002 is different...
And since the PC3s ARE NOT interchangeable from AutoCAD version to another...

You have no other choice...

The migration tools were you best bet... :boohoo:
If they dont work... i dont see another option...
