I am trying to revamp a drawing(map) that I received from a national mapping agency. I am workng on a 1:25,000 scale topo map and need to widen the roads shown on this map (They are barely visible after plotting).
Normally I plot roads using a 2D polyline, these can be easily widened by using modify-polyline-(click on line) (Width) etc etc. How can I perform the same task on 3D polyline? Thanking you in advance, the Beginner

I don't believe you can widen the line. You could convert them to 2d polylines. Not sure, but the command "FLATTEN" may do this. If not, I know there are lisp routines that will do this.

That's what I'd do Carl...flatten and then offset.
