Shout Box = The longest Thread EVER :)

WEBMASTER - I wonder if you could link the shout box to a READ ONLY Thread in pub .... ?????

Where it gets amended every so often...

The shoutbox gets more action than any more place on this forum...

Many times we all come in midpoint of a conversation....
Or we miss it all....

With this thread we could at least catch on the chatter... :)
And it would easliy become the longest in ANY forum... :)

I have to agree, Archi.....take tonights effort with me and Mad......it went on for ages...and I really would like to go over it again. Or maybe have it tap out @ 100,000 post.... then keep pushing out the "100,000th" after each new post is posted in thread.... just like the shout box does now....

It currently keeps like 20 posts or shouts and then keeps pushing out the last shout....

Now I'm not sure if 100,000 is the number we want...
The number should be high enough to maintain the title of having the longest thread ever or at least be in the top 10 of long threads....


but that's me....
if we can't be the giant AutoDesk forum or other familiar forums .... let us be the forum with the longer thread ever...

But then again...
i dont know if all this is doable...

The moderators here should be allowed to edit thread in case some of our spammers decide to post porn links and what not in the shout box to make it into the thread....

I look at mad in Kind of a different light, I think for lots of us she's our own AutoCAD Everything Lotto. We all Know we'll never win her, But she gives us hope! like she could be 5'2 320lbs and Fugly as sin, but in our minds we've all built her up to be all 3 Charlies angles wrapped in to one :), and we know she's smart as a whip, and can keep up with us as well as any of the guys. and we hope these delusions are true, and add to that the FACT that she's a TEASE of sorts, it becomes something so much better! something Almost perfect for Nerds like us that have no real life to experience , or like me have a life you don't want to face on a day to day basis. Mad is our Little escape that makes Freaks like me Almost Normal in a way

I'm not interested in "chatting her up", I just enjoyed "chatting with her". She is so quick and witty, and thinks and types at the speed of light. I was getting one shout in to her 2-3 shouts, and I had to be on the ball the whole time. Thinking, reading and typing so fast, that after that long chat session I ended up with brain muddle and RSI. :p

But, as I first suspected, she really is a character, and very friendly. :)

Yes yes she is, and no one is accusing anyone of trying to chat her up, but I can only liken it to a Reality TV Show, where the girls are all hot and smart, and ect.., that ain't no Reality in my life. but she gives us all an escape with her sharp wit, tempered by that Feminine Quality she adds to this forum!
Now Knowing I missed her by a scant 30 seconds, is kind of like like the Kennedy Assassination, I'm afraid to leave my computer, because I might miss something good ;)
