object properties manager

I have lost the use of my object properties manager, when i right click on an object, such as a block or a dimension a blank box appears instead of the properties of the object (see attached .jpeg) Anyone have any idea how to reinstate this, i've tried everything i can think of and its driving me mad??

Looks like one of the support files ... were either deleted or corrupted ...

I'd try re-installing AutoCAD.
