Whst should one keep in mind when writting a macro?

...simplicity in the writing.....

and make sure its something you'll use over and over again....
Otherwise why waste the time in writing the macro....

the more you practice, try things, and check out the help files

the better you will get with time.

The best thing I can recommend is to google for it, chances are, that somebody else has already thought of it and maybe, just maybe they are willing to share the macro and or code.

you guys are right, practice makes perfect...although sometimes i want to thrown my computer out of the window!! :)
