Problem with colours in Xref

I Xref a base drawing to another drawing.
after that i modified some colours in the basedrawing.
but changes not applied in the xref drawing.
colours not changed.
what happend to colours,
all modifies are changed except colours.

Plz tell me anyone

sorry what mistake i actually done is i am using old layerstate.
thats my problem,
after changing colours in base drawing,i saved the layer state.
and activated in xref.
my problem solved.
