CADD and GIS

Hi,

I am trying to transform a cadd file into a mapping coordinate system called state plane 5 or 6 if you are not familiar with maps.

how is this done?

I heard some one mention the XRef tool?

The XREF tool/ command allows you to underlay or overlay cadd files (DWGs) within each other. [I hope that's clear.]

As for a coordinate system, hmmmmm .... :?
I would guess you want to insert "points" at specific coordinates within your cadd file. You might want to play with the point format so it appears as a "cross" ... so it's (the point) visible.
