Beginner trying to resize a drawing

I am a beginner to using AutoCAD LT 2008. I am not up to speed with all the terminology yet, so please be patient. I am able to resize an existing drawing's viewpoint to the maximum printable size of my 8.5" x 11" paper, but I am unable to increase the drawing size to a point where it will fit correctly in my expanded viewpoint. Please ask any questions for information I have left out. Thanks.

Hi there, it might help you to click on 'Help' at the top of the screen, you can then ask loads of question via the search routine, you might get instant happiness.

ps. the Help button gives you access to the terminology as well, so just reading what comes up is a great help, and will give you the confidence to use CadSpeak.
