I'm curious to see what everybody out there uses their CAD for. I'll start...

I work for a small Aerospace interior design firm located north of Seattle. Obviously mostly Boeing related.

We use AutoCAD and Solidworks, and LCAM and SurfCAM for machining and routing.

architecture in New Jersey....

And I use it at home 4 graphics .. cropping pictures... splicing... minor stuff...
I know there's photoshop and others but AutoCAD just has a cut and dry approach to handling pictures for my purposes....
so I use it for that from time to time....

otherwise its just architecture;)

At Work = Landscape Architecture, with some 3D projects.
At Home = 3D projects, dynamic block creation, lisp writing and basically just playing around trying to learn new things to make work easier.

I do plans detailing for a General Contractor that specializes in Conctrete vertical construction. Not all structural engineer complete their plans or think of every single item that a contractor will need to see, so there is where I pick up the drawings and develop drawings that the carpenters can use in the field. I also create forms and shoring design drawings to help complete the projects.

At work I am a civil CAD tech using LDT06 along with ACAD2006. I heard through the grapevine that we'll be getting 2008 shortly, but I'm not holding my breath.
At home I just dink around on 2006, but the major project now is the basement remodel along with the new nursery.

At work = hvac and plumbing, trying to recreate over two hundred blocks into dynamic blocks.
At home = landscaping, basic architecture, and just learning new things to do with CAD
