dynamic blocks

How do I make a dynamic block that will stretch an object from a midpoint at an equal distance each side. I am just getting into dynamic blocks and as good as the autocad new features workshop is , it still leaves a lot of loose ends, what are the limitations.

dynamic block that stretch at midpoint...? try this..

1. After giving LINEAR PARAMETER, apply STRETCH ACTION to both sides (up & dn or left & right)

2. Select the LINEAR PARAMETER (only) right click>properties
at "MISC" set this:
Base location=Midpoint
Chain action=Yes
